If the cable is the stock cable, then there is reason to suspect the reciever. If it is not a stock cable, then it could be the cable. However, the cable appears to be functioning, as the light fired when the cable was plugged into the reciever (the cable has to be good for that to work). If it is a third party cable, it could be attenuated, which will not work.

All the parts being used are the stock parts that were sent with my bees, CST and CSR.

Then it sounds like a bad CSR+. Contact customer service to see what resolution options are available.
