These instructions are only for lights not able to update during the normal process, which is rare. The normal instructions are complex enough, and adding these instructions would add a layer of complexity to the update.

Additionally, this is not the correct action to take for all cases of update failure. By attempting this and failing will only add to frustrations in the failure to update.
