While we do have packages, what you are probably seeing is the light by itself. This includes the light, model lamp, flash tube, power and sync cords. batteries and remotes are sold separately.

This remote should trigger the light just fine, as long as you can plug it into a 3.5mm jack.

Further specifics on pricing and ordering should go through our Customer Service Department, who can be reached here: info@paulcbuff.com

the remote you have has a PC socket on it. So, yes, if you use a 3.5mm to PC cord, you should be able to use this remote. We have never tested this remote, so we cannot say for sure, but I have never heard of a remote that could not trigger the Bees.

The cord you need would look like this: http://www.paulcbuff.com/sccsraux.php The cord that comes with the flash would also work, though it is about 5m long.

The second unit has a 240V output, which should be the voltage your AC mains is. If your lights can plug into your AC mains, then yes, the second unit is what you need.

If your lights are 110VAC for some reason, you need to get the VML that outputs that voltage, regardless of the mains power supply.

Einstein is not capable of High Speed Sync, nor is our CyberSync system. There are some remote manufacturers that claim to be able to shoot faster than your x-sync speed, however, they rely on a long flash duration. This may work at full power with Einstein, however, as power is reduced, the flash durations get too short for this to work.

The flash duration (or the time there is light being emitted from the flash tube) can be as fast as 1/13000s. When this is the sole light source, this will freeze action well.

However, you are still limited to your sync speed. If you have a significant amount of light at 1/200s, that light can still cause blur, if the movement is fast enough.

With all settings the same, any blur that would be present without the flash, would be present with the flash as well.

If your camera's x-syncs speed is 1/500, then our remotes can trigger fast enough to sync. In fact, they can sync up to 1/2500s, if the camera's x-sync speed is that high. Our remotes and lights, however, cannot sync faster than any camera's x-sync speed. To my knowlege, no studio lights can truly High SpeedSync, and the remotes that claim to force some lights to do this are fraught with inconsistencies and compromises.

There are further discussions on sync speed in these two threads:
