Several years ago I purchased new 3 WL 10,000 units. They have performed great. In Jan 2013 one of them did not work for several minutes after I plugged it in. Then in Jan 2014 all of them did not work for several minutes until plugged in for about 30 minutes. I had been storing them in a unheated building (which I don't do anymore) and think this caused the problem. The modeling light would come on but the unit would just not fire, aparently until it warmed up. Never had this problem before 2013. Anyway I now keep them at room temp and they seem to work just fine.

My question is: Is this a sign of something going wrong with the units (all 3 of them) and if so can it be corrected.

There could be a number of internal possibilities, including aging of components which make them out of spec until they heat up, or corrosion that prevents proper conductivity.

Given the age of the product, repair may not be practical, however you can contact our repair department for specific information on repairs.
