That is pretty exciting. Just curious, in order to take full advantage as described, will we be able to do this with the latest firmware, or will we need to install an upgrade?

thanks for sharing that info.

So if you have CC with Einstein do you need to have something on camera to activate, such as a CST in the hotshoe? Starting from scratch with Einstein and wondering exactly what I need. I'd like to keep the CC off the camera for use as a light meter, etc.

Something will have to be in the hot shoe, or connected to a PC terminal. Starting from scratch, you would need 1 CyberCommander, and 1 CSXCV per Einstein to get full functionality of the system. If you wish to add a CST (we reccomend it) you can keep that in the hotshoe, and the CC elsewhere. For basic triggering, you can get 1 CST and 1CSXCV for one Einstein, and have remaining lights trigger via optical slave, but that takes the fun out of it :)

The majority of my work currently is product/camera on tripod/tethered.

If I wish to shoot handheld, how is the size/weight of the Cyber commander ?

And/or would you recommend just installing a CST on the camera ? If for no other reason the commander wouldn't have to be reinstalled on the camera after metering :)

Cheers, Don

You will want to keep the CyberCommander close at hand. People who keep the camera in hand while shooting can put the CC in the hotshoe. But if you put the camera on a stand or tripod (as I usually do), you will want to put a CST in the hotshoe and keep the CC on your person.
