My Ultra Zap 800 Now makes a very loud Pop when fired. Sometimes with a small puff of smoke. The pop is from inside the unit, not the flash tube. I'm not using it at this point. Send it in for repair?

Yes, anytime smoke comes from inside a unit, it should come in.
