Einstein Keeps resetting Ch & Freq.
Is there a way to have the values I put in stay that way?
I want all my lights set to Freq. 5, and channel numbers from 1 to 4.

It seems that every time I turn them on, it resets to 1 and 1.

They should stay where you set them. The card could be corrupt, causing to reset. Try reformatting (FAT16) or replacing the card.

It is happening on all 4 lights. Can they all be corrupt?
Not a big deal, but it is annoying none the less.

I have tested and used many Einsteins and never seen them change channels or frequencies, even when unplugged and re plugged. We have never heard of this from another user.

Are you perhaps hitting the "Easy Set" button? This, indeed, resets the to Channel 1 and Frequency 1.

I set them all yesterday for a shoot. I will take them out later today, plug them in and turn them on. I will get back to you. Thanks for the responses.

I have not used them for quite a while before that. Now I am wondering if they may have been reset by the firmware upgrade I did a while ago? That would do it right? I think this was the first time I've used them since doing the update.

If this is the case, I am gonna feel pretty dumb!

If you own the Cyber Commander, a push upward on the right joy stick will refresh the lights back to the last setup you saved for them.

Yep. I feel dumb. Fired them all up today and the settings are there.

Must have been the Firmware update.

Sorry for any confusion.
