Hi

I understand that Australia might be receiving it's stock of Einsteins this week and have been wondering about the recent issue with faceplates

1. Can the faceplates be resolved without sending back the lights? I am not talking about a rubber band resolution
2. Will Australian customers get the issue resolved free of charge and shipping cost
3. I assume all einsteins will be v2
4. What kind of warranty will we receive on the units and modifiers

Thanks

1. You will need to send back to Colin and he will fit the new assembly. Not everyone is having issues so it may not be necessary. I found people on the net who are stating their 22 HOBD holds tight and this is the worst offender apparently from the PCB range of modifiers.
2. I was told we pay for shipping back to Colin, PCB pays for back to us.
3. Yes, this would be certain.
4. Same as the US

Tech or Luap can correct me if any of this is incorrect.

The cam replacement is not user fixable.

The cam fix itself is certainly free, however, you should check with PCB AU for the shipping procedures and costs.

All Einsteins are version 2.

Einstein has a two year warranty, all other warranty times can be found here:http://paulcbuff.com.au/cms/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=7&Itemid=3

Great thanks very much for the replies! I will proceed with my order and certainly looking forward to them.

Anyone know the status of the PocketWizard receiver for the Einsteins?

I thought the latest from PW was first quarter 2011.

Based on the headache I just got from trying to find out about where to buy the AC9 (the Alien Bee adapter,) don't believe it. :(

Let's just say that I may not stay a PW user...
