Hello, I use my b800 strobe with various paul buff softboxes, however my large 60 inch box falls off the light , it seems the weight of the box and speed ring just is a tad to heavy. If I try to move or adjust the light angle the slight movement just causes the spring clips to let go the the speed ring. Is there any devise or way to securley attach the large softbox to the bee's so that it takes the strain off the springs clips?

There should not be any problems with any of our modifiers being held by the faceplate of the Alien Bees. Make sure that all four holding fingers are securely within the speedring when mounted. If they are, and that is one of our soft boxes, then there may be something out of spec in that light. If it is under 2 years old, it can be sent in under warranty for repair. If out of warranty, it can be sent in for a $40 repair cost.

Send in both the light and the face plate of the problem box. It too, may be out of spec.
