I've seen different solutions to reuse a modifier/softbox with AB/WL speedring with a speedlight but none of them are really appealing to me.

I wonder if we could buy spare parts of the finger holder system of the AB, Einstein or WL to use in the construction of a softbox mount/bracket?

It could even be an accessory that PCB would like to add on his catalog.

I have looked into this myself. WL/Einstein/Zeus finger mounts would not work. They are designed to work in a cam assembly, whose interior diameter is too small for a speedlite. AB mound would be better, but appears to be impractical, but pehaps possible. The speedlite would need to be removed for each modifier change, or set back so that it does not protrude beyond the interface plane. None of the fingers would be of much use beyond the faceplate they are desinged for.

A more practical solution would be to mimic the Ultra mount (though actual Ultra parts would not be useable either), using a modified speedring.

You would need to contact Customer Service to see if they offer teh faceplate or parts thereof, however I do not expect they will.

The spare part(s) that most interest me are extra softbox diffuser panels (both the outer and the inner baffle). I own two extra Einsteins, three extra CSXCV modules, one extra CyberCommander, and an extra CST transmitter. I'd sure like to travel with extra softbox diffuser panels to protect against loss or damage (such as a rip).

I would also like to see softbox diffuser panels available for purchase.
