After the wait, I understand that my Einsteins will ship soon.

I have to get serious about making the change from my Photogenic units. I've quite an assortment of Chimera boxes. I assume that I'll need new speed rings in order to use these boxes on the Einsteins. I see that PCB sells a LGSR speed ring. Will this interface correctly with the Chimera boxes? Is there a modification that allows Photogenic rings to work with Einsteins? I would appreciate any feedback from those of you that have made the transition from the dark side into the light of PCB.

The standard Chimera speedrings and our speed rings are interchangeable. However, make sure what you are using is about 19cm across. Many speedrings do have an inner adapter. There is likely inner adapters available for those speedrings available to purchase seperately. Check your favored Chimera dealer to see if they carry any. It could be specified as Balcar, White Lightning, Alien Bees, Paul C. Buff, Zeus, or even Einstein.
