I received my Vaga Mini yesterday. It was fully charged when it came. After a little usage and dropping the charge to half, I plugged it in to get it fully charged again. Manual says when its plugged in and charging, red light turns on. In my case it doesn't. But when I turn the unit on after a few hours of charging, it shows full power again so it's actually charging I guess..

Does this mean I just have a melfunctioning led and I can use the unit with no problems otherwise? I just got this thing after 2 months of wait and it'd be a pain to send it back for repair.

I was thinking the same thing when mine arrived. I thought that there would be a light on the unit, but the red/green light is actually on the charger. The little box shows when it is charging, and when it is not.

Yes, that does reference the external charger's LED.

No, it's not faulty . . . the charging light is on the charger, not on the VML front panel.

Only if you are not getting a red LED on the charger block (the box that is part of the cable that goes to the wall). The Vagabond inverter itself will not have a red light.
