I have 2 einsteins and a cyber commander. All worked great in the past.

I ordered some PW MC2's and therefore needed to update the firmware to v.26. I also updated the firmware on the cyber commander at the same time. All three updates seemed to go fine.

Problem is, the modeling light on one of my einsteins does not turn off, even when set to off on the back of the unit or the CC. The modeling light will get brighter as I increase the flash power to max, but it never dims way down at min power and it never turns off.

Any ideas, or should I try re-installing the firmware on that light?

That is a coincidence. The model lamp troubles lie deeper in the light. Contact Customer Service for warranty service.
