Hi,

Ive had my original Vagabond v300 for a couple of years now. I always keep it plugged in so it trickle charges. I fired it up today to get ready for a shoot and one of the inverters wont put out any power. They both have a green light and beep when switched on, but only one unit has power.

Can this be the battery? When checking all connections I noticed only one battery. I hope it's not the inverter because they are now $199.00 each and I can buy a whole new unit for a little more than that. Please help, I'd love to fix this amazing unit.

Have you tried one inverter on at a time? If they each work when only one is turned on, then it could be the shared battery. Or it could be an inverter, which can often be repaired, so the cost to fix could be less than the $199 replacement.

It must be the one inverter. I used a probe from my Multimeter and had a reading of 60 volts out of the usual 120-122. I'll probably end up shipping the one inverter back.

Yep, that would be the inverter.
