While Paul is certainly free to do as he wishes, making a speed cycler is outside of our normal focus. Studio lights do not typically require such a product, and to make something for exlusive and reliable use with other products is something we simply do not have resources for. While I will never say never, it is unlikely we would persue that product.
As for the USB, it has a .5A output which was a stock feature from our supplier, and really a bonus more so than a deliberate feature. iPhones and other devices can take up to 1A to charge. Again, making or altering products specifically for 3rd party applications is resource draining, and would increase the cost of manufacture, resulting in an increase in retail cost. Possible, but not likely. There are AC adapters available to charge from the AC outlets.
