I've came to Big Lights from speedlights. Speedlights have 1/3 step for change light output. By this way changing power output is very quickly. 3 clicks for one step. Now with Cybercommander i must press power switch 10 times to make a 1 step change. Is there way to change steps or make it faster?

The CyberCommander only makes 1/10 stop changes. You can press and hold the power down and it will scroll faster. In the time it takes to walk to a light and make 3x 1/3 stop changes, standing still and making 10x 1/10 changes should still be faster, particularly with multiple lights, particularly if the lights are high/unreachable.

Nikon system have ability to change step from 1/3 to 1/2 to 1/1. And also it have wheel which allow to make fast change even to many steps. Recently i had outdoor shooting with quick changes of setup. Where with nikon i should press 1/1 step 3 times from 1/16 to 1/2, now i should press 30 times. Need more practice to do it quickly!

The other way to look at it is that with the Einstein and the CC, you have precise 1/10th stop control. In a studio setting, you typically are fixing your shutter speed and aperture.

With multiple lights, this extra precision is very useful: you can get the rim light, hair light, etc. Just Right without moving the lights or the subject.

One of the advantages of the Einstein is the precise, accurate control. Once you get used to it, you'll wish you had it on all your gear :-)
