V2 Einsteins, CC to control, and CST to trigger. I really can't 'make' it fail...it seems to be a certain combination of power up or down and metering on more than one channel followed by triggering from the camera from CST. Switching to ALL and popping the flashes completely eliminates the problem.

So this is not happening upon initial set up, rather it is random during the shoot? What FW are you running on the CC and E640?

It happens during the shoot, after I have adjusted a light via the CC. My equipment is buried in the car for an event this weekend, I'll check the FW versions when I set up tomorrow...

It looks like you have the latest (v.26) on the E640's, but if you have not updated your CC since March, it should be updated (to v.36).

Tech Service,

Thank you for the advice. I had to get through a weekend job first, now I'm going to read up on the FW upgrading procedures and get the CC up to the latest version.

Thanks.
