The Einstein/CC system works for me, I'm never going back to a system where the strobes can not be controlled by remote.
I fully agree. I had used the Paul C Buff Radio Remote One system before CyberCommander. It was light gear that was light years ahead of anything in its time, and I came to the same conclusion that I'd never use anything without equally effective remote control ever again--and in fact, no other system at any price yet equals even the old Radio Remote One.
Big-time professionals (bigger than I am, anyway) who have a bunch of assistants don't need electronic remote control, but it makes my work possible. I'm often on location, and I'm able to run through multiple variations of fairly intricate lighting as a one-man-band only because of Paul C Buff remote control capability.

If I'd of brought the Einsteins, and my recommendation now, is that the C.C would be mandatory
In fact, I'd go as far as to say DON'T buy the Einsteins without the C.C's !!
I would agree with this, too. Used manually, they're pretty good lights. With CC, all the Buff lights are just incredible.
