I am thinking about purchasing a beginer bee setup but I had a question. Can your lightstand/umbrella be adapted to use my Nikon SB600/900? At times it would be easier to use the Nikon CLS system rather than studio lights. If they are adaptable what would I need and where would I get such adapters.

Thanks
Dwight

These shoe adapters are also very handy for mounting speedlights:

By the way, in my experience, CLS works reasonably well indoors, but you really need some type of radio trigger when shooting outdoors. YMMV.

Thanks for the info. The speedlights would only be use for very specific indoor events. It appears that the Calcumt adapter has a speedlight mount built in. Is that correct?

If the Calumet has a built-in speedlight mount, you still might want to have them confirm that it works with an SB-900. The foot on the 900 is a bit thicker than "normal", so it wouldn't work with my first Lastolite EZYBOX. Lastolite, by the way, has "upgraded" their mounts to eliminate this little problem.
