Paul, don't blame me because you make really good gear that lasts and lasts... but I have a studio full of WL 5000s (four to be exact) and I want to use them with your new line of PV umbrellas, when you get caught up with demand. Will the umbrella mounts fit in the 5000 cans? And what other currently available (if any) accessories are there for these old but very capable units? -- one of your Cleveland, Ohio fans :D |

The PLM's ship with the option of mounting with a standard 7mm umbrella rod. So, yes, they will work with the 5,000/10,000 strobes. We have the GS1 grid spot as well as a speed ring that allows rectangular traditional softboxes to be used (our foldable boxes are not designed to be used with this speedring). http://www.white-lightning.com/gs1.html http://www.white-lightning.com/softboxes.html (very bottom of the page). |
