Hello All,

I am using a friends cybersync's and trying to shoot some tennis action indoors. I had a couple WL 1600s for my testing and I would get one well lit and then one very dark when shooting in a burst. It would be one good, one bad. I had the lights at about 1/8 power so I was surprised that I couldn't get more rapid fire. Is that right? Is it the Cybersynch's?

Any help would be appreciated!

Early vintage CST's were limited to 3fps. These can be ID'd by the protruding brownish red test button. Gray flush mount buttons can achieve 10fps.

Thanks, so if I get the new ones I should be good to go, right?

Do you know what setting I should be able to get up to and shoot 5 fps with the lights? Could I go 1/2? Higher?

With the 2 second recycle time of the X1600, 1/16 power would be about as high as you would want to go for even lighting. Also, in doing so, I rrecommend utilizing the 1/4 power switch first, then dropping power to 1/4 on the dial.
