I own an E640 and want to order another. If I order one today, will I receive one with the latest fixes including the new clamp finger design? I just don't want to have to return it later.

When will these be off back order?

One more question, will I receive an email when to return my first E640 for the finger replacement or do I need to call and get on a list?

Yes, any new orders will be the latest version with all fixes. I would ask Customer Service about procedure for replacing your first E640 and current order filling time.
