I am just about ready to purchase Three Einsteins for studio work. What wireless equiptment do I need to maintain full control over the Einsteins. |

Just a clarification: One CSXCV for each Einstein (so 3 in your case) and ONE Cybercommander to control all three CSXCV equipped Einsteins. (Basically what he said, but if you read it fast, one eye closed, and your mouth held just right, you might end up thinking you needed three CC's :) |

For maximum convenience, we recommend adding a $59.95 CST to this setup so you don't have to take the CC on and off the camera to meter. |

Very convenient, and on the off chance the CST battery goes down, the CC can fill in as the on-camera trigger, if needed. Redundancy Rocks! |

2 CCs with two users would interfere with one another . . . if one user changes the light settings, the other user's CC won't know it and will get the other user's settings when he fire. This is no real conflict, contrary to other posts, between setting lights with a CC and firing them with a CST, or multiple CSTs on multiple cameras. The only potential conflict is if a second user fires the lights while the CC is being used to make settings . . . not a likely scenario unless a group of shooters is firing away and the person doing the CC setup doesn't say "Hang on . . . I'm adjusting lights". So using two CCs on the same set of lights is not a good idea unless you know what you're doing. |
