Alright weird question. Is there anywhere on the Alienbees flash that mentions which model it is besides the side stickers? Side stickers are taken out. Can I ID by serial no?

Yes, The first numbers of the serial number are the model number. 4 is a B400, 8 is a B800, 16 is a B1600. Often, you can look inside to see how many capacitors there are; 1,2, or 4.
