happy to have it and i got most everything figured out/working nicely using mixed lights ABs and Einsteins.
maybe it was just too late in the day for my brain...but what is it about the 'equalizing modeling lights' function of CC/CSTR+.
i mean...
on what basis does one choose 'one other unit in the system' and use it's modeling light ratio to calculate/set (all?) the others to?
PS-
To whom it may concern...
I was very pleasantly surprised to see(feel) how different my newly arrived P C Buff soft boxes are.
I really like these 'new' soft boxes much better than my present (3 yr old) P C Buff soft boxes. The new soft boxes have much, much thicker (durable/robust) material as opposed the the lighter (ripstop nylon) material of my older stuff.

You have to review the WS ratings and model amp wattages. For instance, if you have an E640 with 250W lamp and an AB1600 (640WS) with a 150V lamp you would have to offset the E640 lamp down to 150W at full power for them to match.

If you also had, say, a 160WS AB400 with 150W lamp you would have to lower it to 37.5W at Full power. Then all lamps would follow the formula 640WS = 150W model.

This only applies in model = track flash mode.
