System - 1 CC, 1 CST, 5 CSRB+, freq 15, channels 1, 3, 5 (all AB400, 7 and 9 (AB800). Had all but channel 1 disabled. While using the strobe stopped firing from the right side button. Unplugged and replugged in several times. No firing. I noticed that the card had popped out (crap engineering there). Popped it back in. Got the strobe to meter a couple of times, but then it stopped and nothing worked. Thought maybe I had inadvertantly gone to another menu and changed a setting (another questionable engineering glitch). So I tried going to the set up menu and checking the light to see if I had disables. Now I can't access the set menus at all! Checked batteries - all good. Nukes haven't reached me from Japan yet, so I don't know:) I have tried all the choices and nothing will open. Would be nice if there was a reset to the unit. Any advice. It doesn't help that I mostly have time to shoot on Friday afternoons, and PCB tech support works only on weekdays. Dead in water (again) for Sundays shoot. |

Will the right joystick not scroll left or right? (you can scroll through the menus in either direction). A disabled light, i.e. one set to standby, will show on the main page of the Cyber Commander in the form of grayed information on that channel. For the light not firing, switch frequencies on the reciever then switch back. This may help. Also, check that nothing has gotten lodged in or around the button. |

Joy sticks work and I can get to the set up menu, and use the joystick to navigate around the main topics. Push js down, and nothing happens. Put it away for the night, and fired it up today (saturday). It worked for about 2 minutes and then locked up again. I have read the forums about a possible corrupted card. Went and got one, but unfortunately all they had was an 8 gig, card which the CC cant handle. Tried reformatting the card that mace with unit and reinstalling the config that was on there, but no joy. The essential problems are: The right joy stick won't meter (no flash pop) when in meter mode, and the the main set up menu is locked up. so I can't check light settings, or access any of the other setting modes. |
