Hi,

I just got my V2 Einsteins and plugged them in to test using a CST transmitter and the CSXCV receivers. The flashes started to fire in rapid succession, almost a flickering mode. I removed the transmitters and they still flashed randomly. I turned off the optical slave, thinking that was the problem, but still flashed randomly. Very odd behavior.

Any suggestions?

98% it's an almost dead battery in the CST. CR2450 - at Walgreens, Best Buy etc. Small side up.

I wondered about that. Will change the batteries. However, they did still fire randomly when the CSXCVs were removed, just not as fast. I have a lot of wifi in my house (computer geek) I wonder if that would affect things?

We have never seen any random firing of lights based on Wi-Fi. Certsinly not with the CSXCV's removed (there would be nothing to accept the signal). Low CST batteries are the most likely cause if a reciever is active (for example, if you had an AB with a reciever and your Einstein optical triggers are active, or when the CSXCV's are active). Also, try a different circuit and see if the problem persists. Noise on the circuit can cause undesired effects.
