Post subject:  Successor to Vagabond II?

The AB site now says the VII is being discontinued. That being the case, may I ask if any "official" decision has been made regarding a successor? The VML is a superb product but there are definitely situations in which quicker recyling times than the VML can provide would be highly desirable. I know a lithium powered big brother to the VML has been considered and was mentioned by Rob Galbraith. What I'd like to know is if it would be possible at this time to confirm that an uber-VML is in the product pipeline. If so, it might be worth waiting for. If not, I might have to look to the new Innovatronix offerings (despite their "old technology" SLA batteries).

Thanks much,

Dave F.

We are exploring posibilities. We cannot confirm if one will or will not be coming, as we have not made a decision as of this time. Remember wanting and being able to offer one is two different things.

I appreciate your candor. Clearly, any successor (if there is to be one) will be some ways off.

Thanks much,

Dave F.
