They do, however, you will need to clear this with the clergy and couple first, as it can be intrusive. With the excessively wide range of venuses, there is an equal number (or more) methods to utilize them. |

Most weddings don't allow flash during the ceremony. You can use flash of bride and party walking up but till the kiss, you need to use natural light only. The best wedding photographers are the ones that are not noticed. The reception is different, it's nice to offer portraits for guests if they desire. That doesn't usually make much money but it gets your name out there for possible future business. One or two lights with umbrellas are fine depending on space allowed. I will use studio flash for formals afterwards in the church but there really not practical otherwise. Remote speedlites can make more sense sometimes. |

They would certainly work (and be acceptable) for the after-ceremony series of Bride, Groom, shots with Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Family de rigueur shots in the church. |
