Can anyone tell me if the Norman 800D Powerpack and The Vagabond Mini™ Lithium are compatible?

We cannot say for sure, as we do not have access to that particular unit. However, I assume the "D" stands for digital. If so, it is not uncommon for the processors to crash during the inevitable drop in voltage during recycle. Many digital lights are prone to this, while others are not (Paul designed the E640 to withstand this drop). We do, however, offer a 60 day satisfaction gurantee that will allow you to try out the power supply to see if it meets your needs.

These powerpacks are 15 to 20 years old so I am sure are NOT digital.

I do not foresee any problems with this pack and VML, however, I cannot make any guarantees. We have used more powerful packs successfully. I would wager recycle times to full in the 5 to 6 second range.
