I purchased some new Cactus V5 triggers. They seem to work great with my Canon Speedlites but when I add a trigger to the Einstein (all settings the same) I can not get the Einstein to fire. The Speedlites all flash, but not the Einstein. Any suggestions?? Thank you! |

There is nothing inherent to the design of Einstein to prevent any remote from working, though we cannot guarantee that any remote will (except CyberSync, though we do try to maintain PW compatability via the sync jack). With that said, I looked up the V5's and noticed they ship with a stereo cable. If you are using this cable, that could be the source of the problem. I would recommend sourcing a similar cord that was mono and not attenuating. We sell these cords here: http://www.paulcbuff.com/cssc.php, as well as most well stocked camera stores. Be aware, however, the short mono to mono cords from Radio Shack are attenuating, which filters the trigger signal, and will not work. |
