I have a CST transmitter in addition to a Cyber-Commander and 2 CSXCV Receivers. Everything seems to work fine with the CC. However, the CST will not trigger the flash 99% of the time. Whether on the camera hotshoe, or pressing the test button - no flash. The red LED will blink, but that is all. I tried new batteries with the same result. When pressing the test button, it has triggered the flash once or twice - but that was it. I did verify the frequencies are set up properly. Any ideas? Thanks |

When you verified frequency, did you use the darker deeper cut end of the frequency dial on the CST? Also, be sure you are referencing FREQUENCY on the CST and E640 and not channel. Make sure the CC is not set to a GRP (group) that the Einsteins are excluded from (basically, make sure the blue bars appear on the CC, and are not grayed out). |

I did verify all of the above. The Einsteins trigger fine from the CC 100% of the time, but will only fire about 1 out of 30 times with the CST. Any other ideas? |

How old is this transmitter? More specifically, did it used to work and now it doesn't? If possible, check the voltage of the new battery. I have seen many batteries near dead when fresh out of the package. Otherwise, it may need warranty service or replacement (depending on age). |
