I am gearing up here soon to purchase the LS3900 and was wondering if the Paul C. Buff crew had any 'official' suggestions for what boom attachment I should purchase? I'm not trying to break the bank with the purchase either :P

9/10 times I am going to be attaching the 22HOBD to the boom, but every now and again I might toss up the FOB47.

Thanks in advance :)

Any boom comparable to our old ones should be fine. Make sure it clamps to the stand and does not sit atop the 5/8 stud. I believe Westcott has one (B&H) and Interfit and Savage have some that should also work (Adorama).

this one is darn near identical

Just to confirm specs, the LS3900 heavy duty stand does have a 1" - 1.25" diameter top section to clamp booms to?

Thanks so much for your time!

Yes, the top section is just over an inch in diameter.
