I want to use high flash sync speeds with the einstein. I have pocketwizard plusII. What is the minimum triggers I would need to shoot at high shutter speeds for sports like galbraiths examples http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_ ... 0053-10715 Would also like to control output of einstein. Assume for that I will need cybersync. Thanks, John |

Hey John Hypersync is not something that you will get from an Einstein. The fastest shutter speed I have been able to get is 320th ... but that's OK. You will get great action stopping ability via Einstein's incredibly short flash duration in Action mode. Einstein is the ticket for sports. Any trigger will work just fine, I have Cyber Commander, PW Plus II's and PW TT1 / MC2's. I prefer the TT1/AC3/MC2 combination, but that's just me. |

How then to prevent ghosting from ambient light? Need to shoot at least 500th and 800th would be better. |

Studio strobes are usually powerful enough to be stronger than ambient, so you use the flash pulse to freeze motion. The other alternative is to get a D70 or P&S (both w/ electronic shutter) w/ hotshoe to sync. On my LX5, I can do ISO80, 1/640 cleanly w/ Radiopopper JrX and an Einstein at 3/4 power...plenty to dim ambient... |

I successfully tested the Einstein using the sync hack with pocketwizards and can shoot at up to 8000th of a sec using full power. Best results with a lower iso are obtained at about 2000th. |

I just got an Einstein with MC2 and a PW MiniTT1 for my Canon 7D, I am trying to figure out to setup or get hypersync. Any help would be great. |
