I just got 2 AB800s and 1 AB1600 today and am stoked to get using them. However, they are tripping my breakers very often. I've tried several different outlets in the house using extension cords. All lights at the lowest setting possible to test. It doesnt matter if its 1, 2 or all 3 lights. Any advice on what I should do?

Has it always been the same breaker or have you tried outlets on different breakers? Out of curosity, what size are the breakers? If you haven't already, try a light on different outlets without the extension cord. Does the breaker trip right after the strobe fires (when the light is recycling)?

Additionally, what else is on the breakers that are tripped? How fast are you firing the lights?

I would also try your lights at a different location if possible - to see if it's not bad wiring, or your outlets are overloaded, or some other electrical problem. Last year I had a problem with my B1600's circuit breaker tripping constantly. I later determined it was bad wiring at the location I was shooting (I tried several outlets there and they all tripped my B1600).
