I'm getting uncontrolled runaway strobing with my Einsteins.

It can only be stopped by powering down the Einsteins. They're being triggered with Transmitter CST and receivers CSXCV. Slave Eye Status is switched off.

Last couple of jobs I've had to switch to the 20th century sync cord. Not ideal. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the CST battery voltage?

I'm not sure exactly why (from a circutry stand point) but triggers tend to get flakey when the battery voltage gets low. Random firing and rapid firing are common with low battery voltage. Glad it was an easy fix. :)

Yes, rapid firing is a symptom that is almost always from a low CST battery.
