I am looking for step-down transformer for ABR800 Ringflash from 220 to 110 VAC (my Vagabond is 230 VAC and cannot be used with the ringflash :cry: ). Would 700-1000 W be enough to power up this unit or should I look for more powerful one (2000 W)? Or there is a way to modify the internal power circuit to make it compatible with 220 VAC?

There is no way to change the power requirements on the ringflash. However, a 500W (or more) magnetic stepping transformer will be fine for one light.
