Just wondering if there are any issues with leaving the batteries in the units when not in use?

Typically I like to remove the batteries from units when I'm not using them. With the sleep mode of the units do I really need to do this?

The one potential issue I see of removing often, is that batteries may not fit as snug after a while, when inserted and removed on a regular basis.

What experience have you all had?

Thanks
Paul

There is no harm in leaving them installed when not in use for relatively short periods of time. However, like with any battery powered device, the batteries should be removed if they will not be used for an extensive period of time (months). This is not for a battery drain issue, but batteries can corrode if left installed for too long.

The battery contacts should not losse thier spring by installing and removing batteries. However, should the spring come out of contact, it is easy to bend back out into shape.
