I just purchased 2 Ab800's along with the cyber commander and csr+ units. I want to be able to use my sb600 as a supplimental light from time to time, how can I get it to fire as an optical slave? I know it does not have a pc port or an su mode like the sb800 and 900's do. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You could try something like this:

Or you could get another Cybersync - maybe a CSRB+ - and PCB's Speedlite Foot Adapter. You would put your SB600 in the SLFA and connect the Cybersync's sync cord to the SLFA also. Technically you would only need an additional Cybersync receiver if you wanted to use both Bees and the SB all at the same time. And in general, a "B" version (CSRB or CSRB+) would make the most sense - battery powered receiver for a battery powered flash. With the CSRB+ you'd be able to assign the SB600 its own channel but you won't be able to remotely control its power using any combination of Cybersync components.

You can get an optical trigger to trigger the SB. However, since it will fire anytime it sees a flash, then it will fire when you do your flash metering of the Bees. If you wish to do individual light metering, then you will need to turn off the SB as you do so until you are ready to add it. Using a CSRB will do the same thing (only you are not limited to line of sight). Using a CSRB+, you can treat it just like the AB's for grouping, metering, and triggering. You will not have power control, however.

Seems like getting another csrb+ and the hot shoe adapter will be my best bet, bonus is that when I buy an AB1600 to add to my setup in a few more weeks I will already have a csrb+ for it. Thanks guys.

i bought a hotshoe adapter for that purpose for about 30 bucks in b&h, but its not a tight fit with the flash, i have to secure my speedlight with gaffers tape whenever i use it so it doesnt fall out
