Has anyone used 2 mini boom arms together to extend the length from the stand? I would use this on a TS13AC with a sandbag. Just wondering if anybody has done this or experienced any problems.

Everything should fit. However, it really depends on what is going to be mounted to the boom arms as to whether or not it will be recommended. Something light weight like a beauty dish or smaller reflector should be fine. Larger softboxes and such would not be due to the added torque, which the top stud of the TS13AC is not designed to hold.
