I've just received my first Einstein, along with a cybersync, and the standard case for a light.
One potential problem I've noticed is that the cybersync receiver seems to be rather fragile. It attaches with nothing more robust than exposed pins, which anyone who remembers older computer cables knows are very easy to accidentally bend out of shape.

It doesn't sit very far into the body of the light, so leaving it in the light when transporting doesn't seem entirely secure. It seems like only a little bit of lateral force would be all it would take. Taking it out and storing it in the pocket at the top of the soft bag or the like leaves the pins exposed, and thus even more prone to bending.

As it is, I'll be looking for a small hard case that it will fit into, but I'm wondering what, if anything, other people do with them?

I store my radios in a plastic tackle box, protection is fine but less convenient than I'd like. The CSXCV (did I spell that right?) has sturdy pins and is very lightweight, so it's not likely to be damaged rolling around in a case. What I worry about more is losing them, otherwise I'd just toss 'em in the same case as the lights.

The rubber cap on the Pocket Wizard MC2 receivers is a nice touch.

I keep the CSXCV's, CST, and CC in a small portable hard drive case along with some extra batteries for the CST and CC. This works well for my needs and I haven't had any pin issues.

Stick them into a piece of shipping foam, then rubber band them together...

If you go to almost any retail store these days, you can buy items in small blister packs. Think about using USB memory stick packaging. Or better still, I found this plastic container holding some really inexpensive product at the pharmacy. It weighs nothing, yet is strong and rigid. "Think out of the box."

For what it is worth, I have never seen a CSXCV with bent pins. With reasonable care, they should transport fine, and the above posts look like fine solutions.

I didn't think it'd be too much of an issue, given the reputation that Paul C Buff has, but exposed pins always worry me.
Looks like it'll fit into an altoids container, which should protect it quite well enough from any accidental bumps along the way.

The receivers ship in an anti-static bag. Is this not a concern transporting them without anti-static protection?

The susceptibility of the CSXCV to static is about the same as any other electronic device. Yes, it is safer to keep it in an anti static bag, but the probability is low that something will happen if you don't.

I've bent pins by dropping it so I can see how there can be a worry about bending them while transporting :(
Easy enough to bend back though...
