Post subject:  Quantum T4D used with the Cyber Commander

I just bought a Quantum Flash T4D. I already have a cyber commander that I use on my studio with my Einstein Lights. On location I would like to use the commander with the receivers I already have from PCB connected to the T4D. Is this even possible? Do I have to use their receivers/transmitters?
Thanks a lot for your help....

The CSXCV recievers designed for Einstein are only compatible with Einstein. You can, however, use CSRB+ recievers with most other lights on the market including speedlites, mono lights, and power packs. However, you will be limited to metering, triggering, disabling, and grouping of lights. You will not have control over power adjustments.

While there are 3 standard cords included with the CSRB+, you may need a different cord or an adapter to make the system work. These can be found online at places like FlashZebra.

The channel the CSRB+ is set to needs to be specified as other> speedlite (or monolight) instead of the PCB light it would otherwise be specified as.
