I was using 2 B800's yesterday with my CST transmitter and CSR receiver attached to one of the strobes, both lights on AC power in studio. After about 30 min of correct behavior, the lights started to randomly fire, becoming quite rapid after a short time. I tried turning everything off, switching the CSR to the 2nd light, turning off the modeling lights, adjusting the strobe power, to no avail. If it's any consolation, the model believes it was her - she swears she's had this effect on other photogs lights..... :D . Switched to old el-cheapo backup Flashpoint transmitter/receiver and carried on with the shoot, no further issues. Today, I checked the battery in the CST and it's reading 2.91V. Any suggestions?

This can happen from time to time if the battery was in a low condition, which is appears that it was. A fresh battery should solve the problem, and it is always good to have one on hand.
