Hey Gang,

Just wanted to ask the major differences in the 7 inch reflector and the 8.5 inch. I will be getting 4 Einsteins and am trying to figure what reflector will be a better buy. I will be doing alot of location and studio photography and am trying to see if the 8.5 is worth it and if it really adds an extra stop of light. Any suggestions would be great

Thanks guys
Greg

The 8.5 reflector concentrates the light over a smaller area. This means the area covered will be one stop brighter than when using the 7" reflector, which spreads the light over a larger area.

Which to use is a personal preference, but the 8.5 is probably a more popular choice.
