I'm sure this is in the manual somewhere. How do I fire a test shot with just one channel going off so I can see the effect isolated? I know I've done this before but can't seem to find it. Forgot to mention this is using the CyberSync Commander. Thanks in advance for your help. Dave |

You would need to set the channel up as a group. This is discussed on page 48 in the current manual. http://www.paulcbuff.com/manuals/cc.pdf |

Ok, so for simplicity sake, I typically use channel 1 for my main light, channel 2 for one or more 'kickers', and channel 3 for the background. If I set each of these up as a separate group and put a marker, maybe taped onto my Einsteins, as to which channel they are currently set for, I should be able to set up my lighting and also have everything set so that I can select to fire an individual group to see what each one looks like? |

Yes, if by "fire" you mean triggered by the camera, as opposed to buttons. (The buttons do not require the grouping like the hotshoe does) |
