I'm really hoping there is an easy fix for this. The thought of shipping out two of my four lights for repair is not a nice one.

I am also worried this is a bigger problem since it has happened to two out of four of my lights.

Today while at a shoot I had my Giant Softbox AND Large Octabox both fall off the Einstein 640's they were attached to.

To be clear, this was two separate Einsteins. At first I thought I had somehow attached the modifiers incorrectly. However, I put them back on and was diligent in making sure they were attached properly. I noticed the clips seemed very loose. Especially the top ones. On both lights. Sure enough with very little pressure the modifiers both popped right off.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a fix of any kind?

Thanks in advance for your help.

We can fix the fingers, however it will require the light to come in.

Thanks! I called in to repair today and was told the same.

Now, I am in Canada. The lady I spoke to on the phone at Paul C. Buff said I could ship these to your Canadian Authorized Repair Centre. I called Service Camera Pro and they also told me I can ship to them, although I am waiting for the tech to call me back to discuss the cost. However, on your Canadian repair page it says all warranty and non-warranty work must be done by Paul C. Buff. (http://www.paulcbuff.com/canada_repair.php) has that changed? Is it OK to send my Einsteins to the Canadian repair facility?
