Unless I am missing it, there is no flash sync speed of 1/200th of sec. If your a Canon shooter, you know that is the max sync speed. I see 1/125th and 1/250th, great for Nikon shooters, but no 1/200th.....wheres the love for Canon shooters

Am I missing this or can we expect this to show up anytime soon in a software update for the cyber commander?

Thanks in advance!

Some Canons can do 1/250, and some other brands are 1/160 or 1/180, so its not just you :D

Cyber Commander currently only has whole stop increments for ISO and shutter speed. However, we are in the research stage of adding 1/3 stop increments. I cannot guarantee if or when this update will be released.

The good news is, in a low light environment (like in studio), the shutter speed is essentially irrelevant. So a meter reading at 1/200 would be the same as a meter reading at 1/250. Only if you have such a slow shutter speed that the ambient light starts to seep in will you have a problem. This should not happen until less than 1/30s or slower, even in a bright room.

ISO 1/3 stop increments can be faked by the CAL option in the FLASHMETER window by using +0.3f and +0.7f respectively.
