Is anyone having triggering issues when using the L-478-DR light meter with the MC-2 receivers? I've updated the firmware on everything but the triggering is not consistent. I'll get two positive triggers then no trigger. |

Unfortunately, this is likely rooted in the flashmeter radio. We do not have any information on this. |

I'll get two positive triggers then no trigger. I did a shoot a few weeks ago with the L-478DR and two Einsteins with PowerMC2's. Worked flawlessly. The only thing that you have to keep in mind is that you have to decide *where* you want to control the flash power from (the PocketWizard transmitter on your camera *OR* the L-478DR). You can't have two things controlling the flash power at the same time. I wanted the meter to control the power (with the nifty on-screen sliders) so I had to go into the PocketWizard Utility and set "No Change (Trigger Only)" in the SPEEDLIGHT section on my transmitting TT5. Lots of L-478DR information in the PocketWizard wiki: http://wiki.pocketwizard.com/index.php? ... ic_L-478DR |
