Does the metallic PLM lining shield radio signals?

I've never run into this particular issue before.

As soon as kill-spill modifier PLM86-BFSPKF is added to the Silver 86” 16 Rib Parabolic Umbrella PLM86U-S, strobe output drops down 22 stops, as far as I can meter.

Happy April Fool's Day, PCB guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) :-)

A black/silver umbrella with its front covered with a black cloth, would of course block virtually all light from coming out.

If a flash goes off in a black box in the the forest and nobody can see it, is there any light at all?
