I now have 3 White Lightning 1600's and wondering if the new Einsteins will have secure speed ring tabs like the White Lightnings or less secure Alien Bee's and will the tripod mount be of cast aluminum or plastic?

Einstein has an improved version of the WL cam style speedring attachment. The stand mount is Lexan with steel 5/8" insert for added strength - much like Elinchrom stand mount.

Cast aluminum is very difficult and expensive due to the high molding temperatures involved - most cast metal parts are Zinc alloy.
